Sadie Bauer began her career as a hairstylist more than 10 years ago. She took a few years off from the salon world to explore a career in marketing and then manners and etiquette. She has noticed a few parallels in the careers she has enjoyed – they all help her guests feel their most confident. She is very detail-oriented and loves asking in-depth questions to uncover what her guest is looking to achieve with a new style. She has been in the Northern Virginia area for the past 11 years and has more than 20 years of industry experience. Jessica attended the Douglas Institute in E. Lansing, MI and received her B.S. from Michigan State University. During this time, she has built an impressive resume that includes working for publications such as Men’s Health and Self, along with several local D.C. magazines. She has also participated in New York Fashion Week and was recognized by AVEDA nationally as a top performer. Jessica strives for the guest experience to be fun and relaxing and ensures that her clients love their hair when they leave her chair.

Claude Marcel, Artistic Director
Claude had a 26-year relationship with the internationally renowned Dessange Paris salons and has worked in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Paris, and Washington, D.C. In Paris, he worked at Dessange International as a stylist to show business personalities and other dignitaries. In this capacity, Claude worked on a vast number of international celebrities and clientele performing television, movie, and stage work, as well as haute couture fashion shows, premieres, and award shows such as the Cannes Film Festival. In 1999, Claude moved to Washington, D.C., to assume the role of Artistic Director and Training Manager at Dessange Chevy Chase. Here in Washington, Claude’s clientele includes Ambassadors, Senators, television personalities, actors, and more. He is well-known for transforming the looks of his clients and educates other stylists, including his team here at the salon. He instinctively knows what you want before you know yourself.

Min Han, Nail Magician
Min loves her job and has been a nail technician for over 16 years. She truly has a passion for nails, and you will see her passion when you walk out the door. Your nails will look the best they can with her unique skills and an eye for detail. Min strives to provide her clients with a place where they can come to relax and rejuvenate their bodies and minds. She wants her customers to leave feeling nourished from their salon and nail experience.
