Cathy, Style Speaks: This is tough to pick just one! The first answer that popped into my mind was a pair of taupe colored booties. Investing in the extras like great shoes, handbags and outerwear is an easy way to elevate your look. A pair of taupe colored booties will be super versatile across many seasons. You can start wearing them today with your skinny jeans, black pants or leggings as a way to lighten up your winter look. Into spring, pair them with white jeans and dresses. And, you can pull them back out again come fall. The color will pair with everything so you’ll get tons of wear out of them. If you already own a great pair of neutral booties, you might think about investing in a fabulous trench coat (I’m thinking pink!) or light colored handbag for spring. I can’t wait for the new season to arrive.
