pants, three ways

We wrote last week about how to style a classic white button-down five different ways, in other words how to style multiple outfits around one closet staple. This week, we are styling three different outfits around your favorite pair of pants. Whether it’s a tailored pair of black slacks, form-fitting leggings or your go-to pair of dark-denim jeans, this fall you can incorporate them into multiple looks for all occasions.

Here, we worked around these faux-leather Hale Bob black pants.

Dinner and a Concert. You can have fun with this one, but we caution you when it comes to showing skin. There are plenty of options that are both edgy and age-appropriate when it comes to dressing for a night out. This vest is a perfect example of a piece that offers great style without sacrificing sophistication.

Holiday Party. The truth is that most of us feel more comfortable in pants, and I don’t think we should ever have to apologize for wanting to be comfortable. Cocktail attire doesn’t always have to equate dresses. I see no reason why you shouldn’t consider pants an evening staple. Here’s a perfect example.

Tailgating. Dressing for outdoor football-related activities can be tough. You must consider both weather conditions and your audience. We vote for leggings with flat booties and a yummy sweater. Oh, and of course, sunglasses!
